I spent my initial 19 years in China before pursuing my studies at the University of Bristol. Unlike many international students, my educational journey didn't include international middle or high schools prior to the International Foundation Year. Born in Guangdong province, I lived there until the age of five, when my family moved back to our hometown in a small county in Hubei province. This place holds a special place in my heart, enriched by deep friendships and unforgettable experiences that I cherish.
I am the first generation to get into university in my small family. My parents succeed by working hard every day and their willingness to learn new things, even though their highest education level is primary school. I have to agree that I’ve inherited an innate curiosity and a drive for continuous learning and improvement, I hope that I can take what I learned from them to my further path.
Lastly, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my family members, friends, and everyone who has offered their support and love. Their contributions to my journey have been invaluable.
